 Badger Pass at Yosemite today at 2 pm. There is still plenty of snow and the weather is warm and perfect. There were very few skiers.

Yosemite "The Burn"

 This is a ski run called "The Burn" which takes off from El Portal View on the Badger Pass Road in Yosemite. It offers some very steep terrain and ends at the lower road so it is great for shuttles.

These were taken the day after Christmas when we had that great cold snowstorm in Yosemite.

The skiing is great at Badger Pass in Yosemite and the crowds are not to bad.

 This was Badger Pass yesterday, 12/21/08, as the rain moved in around noon. Last night it snowed really good and Badger Pass got several inches of new snow.

 The cross country skiing on the Glacier Point road yesterday was perfect. The groomers had smoothed the nice powder to make for perfect skiing. We started at Badger Pass and went all the way to Bridalveil Creek, about 4 miles. It was not crowded at all and we saw 1 snowshoer and 4 skiers.
