Badger Pass Ski Area is closed for the season

The Badger Pass Ski Area in Yosemite is closed for the season. The Glacier Point Road section up to Badger Pass, 5 miles, is still open but will probably be closed soon cutting off all access to snow for the public.

NPS used to keep it open prior to 1999 so folks could go up and still enjoy the snow. For some strange reason the close it soon after Badger Pass closes.

Expect the road to Glacier Point to open sometime mid May.
